Potluck – September 23, 2023

Buffalo Ranch Community Potluck on 09/21/2023 was a wonderful success! There was a lot of excitement among kids and adults alike, with innumerable types of entertainment: dancing, taichi, hula hoop, sack race, face painting, balloon art, and raffle ticket prizes.  HOA provided sumptuous food and drinks, and many homeowners brought delicious food on their own. All in all, it was unmistakably an enjoyable event. Community Potluck offered a unique opportunity for homeowners to meet their neighbors, shake hands, make new friends, and have fellowship and friendship.

We extend grateful thanks to Chelsea Gross (one of our Board members) for donating so many raffle prizes; it is unbelievable that almost every household went home happy with a prize or two. Some might have been disappointed because they did not win a prize, but to clarify, raffle prizes are only for winners and only for some.

Spring Breeze Dancing Group, led by Chelsea Gross, performed outstanding dance. Xiaowei Hunt gave a distinguished taichi performance.  Kudos to these artists for their commitment and dedication in performing nonstop dances for an hour!

Sierra Community Management did a fantastic job setting up the event’s infrastructure (tables, tents, chairs, etc.), issuing name tags to the attendees, and giving away Raffle tickets. Sierra Community Management was represented by its President, Mandy Endelman, who enjoyed meeting and talking to homeowners and Residents. Mathew, the DJ, made periodic announcements and energized the attendees, and also arranged games for kids, like a sack race, hula hoop, etc., and kept them engaged throughout the event.

This event would not have been possible without the express leadership of Chelsea Gross, Wendy Wen, and Cindy Wu! BR HOA Board deeply thanks all the volunteers (Doc(Rampur Viswanath), Kiki, Micheal, Vivian, Linda, Rosa, Isabel, John, Robert, and Richard) who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event an amazing success.

We can add other artists for future potluck events if BR Residents suggest or recruit other artists, like the marvelous Spring Breeze Dancing Group. If you have any suggestions for future events, please send them to Sierra Community Management.
